Jailer is the upcoming film of Rajinikanth, which is going to be released on August 10, 2023. The movie is going to be an action comedy. The movie Jailer features the lead actor Rajinikanth in the titular role, appearing in a salt and pepper look. The film features Tamannaah Bhatia in a prominent role. They have also released some promotional material, which looks promising with many star actors. There has been a huge buzz around this film from the very beginning, as it has been two years since Rajinikath came to the big screen.
Yesterday, the makers of Jailer released the promo for the first single, Kaavaalaa, from the film. This is revealed in a comic way as a conversation between Nelson Dilipkumar and the music composer of the film, Anirudh Ravichander. The Kaavaalaa song is mainly for Tamannaah Bhatia. When Anirudh asks about the mood of the song, the director says, “Mood is the mood of the song.” Also, from this video, it is clear that the song is 70% Tamil and 30% Telugu.
Nelson Dilipkumar is the writer and director of the film Jailer. Kalanithi Maran is producing the film under the Sun Pictures production house. The film features an extended star cast that includes Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Mirnaa Menon, Vasanth Ravi, Naga Babu, Yogi Babu, Jaffer Sadiq, and many others. Vijay Kartik Kannan is the cinematographer, and R. Nirmal is the editor.
