Indian film icon Sridevi, who regaled audiences in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi with her impeccable acting skills and great screen presence.
The legend who won a posthumous National Film Award for the Best Actress for her portrayal of a resilient mother who avenges the humiliation meted out for her daughter died in February 24th, 2019.
Now, the icon of Indian cinema is going to get a wax statue in Madame Tussauds, Singapore. The famous costume getup of hers in her 1987 action comedy, Mr. India in the song Hawa Hawaii is being recreated for her statue in the museum in Singapore.
The wax statue is going to be unveiled on September 4th, 2019.

Sridevi’s husband and producer, Boney Kapoor shared a video promo of the making of Sridevi’s statue and shared his gratitude for the unit of Madame Tussauds for immortalizing his star wife, into an icon, literally.
