Hyderabad city has witnessed the heaviest rainfall and consequent flooding last week, which has affected many livelihoods. To help out the people in need during these tough times, Ram Pothineni donated 25 Lakhs to the CM Relief Fund.
On Thursday, Ram Pothineni met Telangana Minister KTR to hand over the cheque of 25 Lakhs at his office. He also spoke to KTR about upcoming films, theatres and other wide range of topics. While sharing the donation, Ram said, “Extremely concerned about my people of Telangana..glad to see than man @KTRTRS himself on the ground right from day 1 of the floods..would like to appreciate & extend my support to our state government by donating ₹25 lacs to the CM relief Fund.Love.” (sic)
Apart from Ram, Several celebs like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Vijay Deverakonda, Ravi Teja, Trivikram Srinivas, Anil Ravipudu and many others donated funds to CM Relief Fund. Recently, Pawan Kalyan donated 1 CR to Hyderabad floods while Prabhas donated 1.5 CR.

On the work front, Ram Pothineni will be next seen in the upcoming film RED, directed by Kishore Tirumala. Ram will portray dual roles that are constantly at loggerheads with each other. The film is an official remake of the Tamil action thriller Thadam. The film features Amritha Aiyer and Nivetha Pethuraj as the leading ladies with Hebah Patel in a special number called Dinchak. RED will also feature Malvika Sharma, Sampath Raj and Vennela Kishore in crucial roles.
