People who watch Telugu movies regularly know that the Rajamouli-Keeravani combo is a sure shot formula for success. The director-music director duo are also brothers in real life. Keeravani has composed music for all of Rajamouli’s movies since the latter began his career. Rajamouli is known for always having a certain crew, artists and technicians in all his movies.
In one of his latest interviews Keeravani opens up on what he likes and dislikes in his brother, Rajamouli. Keervani likes Rajamouli’s determination and how he does not give up until he achieves something he likes. Keeravani also likes his concentration power and ability to grasp things quickly and how he strives for excellence while executing them.

Talking about his dislikes, Keeravani says Rajamouli always watches a lot of ‘children’s films’ even after Keeravani’s recommendations to watch something more mature. Case in point being Rajamouli recently revealed how he slept while watching the Oscar winning movie Parasite. Keeravani reveals that Rajamouli does not listen to him even after the former recommends movies.
Rajamouli and Keeravani are currently working on Roudram Ranam Rudhiram (RRR) which is a period drama and a fictional retelling of the lives of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju, who are noted Indian freedom activists. Keeravani’s background score was widely praised in the recently released promotional video which shows Ram Charan as Alluri Sitarama Raju and Jr NTR narrating the introduction of the character. Keeravani’s work in Baahubali series received widespread acclaim and called it one of the best works of his career so far. We hope to see Keeravani and Rajamouli recreate the magic of their combination with the movie RRR.
