After the super success of iSmart Shankar with Puri Jagannadh, Ustaad Ram Pothineni is backing his mass following for his upcoming movie, The Warriorr. The film looked like a perfect action and mass entertainer in the trailer, and that’s what RaPo wanted to make the USP of his film. He is banking once again on mass and action elements and is planning to drag the audience to theatres. In addition to this, Ram looked very stylish in his look as a cop in the trailer. Having a super performer like Aadhi Pinisetty opposite him will add energy to Ram and it is so sure that The Warriorr is going to be a perfect one-on-one action entertainer for this monsoon. The film is going to be released on July 14th. So the makers conducted an energetic pre-release event yesterday, at which Harish Shankar graced it as the chief guest. Interestingly, Harish revealed an exciting update to the Ustaad fans at the event.
Speaking at the pre-release event of The Warriorr, Harish Shankar said that he started admiring Ram Pothineni from the film Devadasu. For different reasons, Harish planned to make a film with Ram several times all these years, but unfortunately it did not get into shape. “I narrated a very sensitive love story to Ram once. But he felt that the script didn’t fit his energy. I will surely make a film with him very soon. Matching the energy of Ram is very difficult and I will come up with such a script,” said Harish Shankar.
The Warriorr is written and directed by Lingusamy, the most stylish action director in Kollywood. To experience Ram Pothineni’s action under such a director will truly be a mass festival for the audience in theatres, as said by Harish Shankar. The Warriorr is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen. Krithi Shetty is the lead actress. Akshara and Nadhiya played prominent roles. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music for the film. The Warriorr is going to be released on July 14th in theatres in both Telugu and Tamil languages.
