Fighter stars Vijay Deverakonda and Bollywood actress Ananya Panday directed by Puri Jagannadh. The film was being shot in Mumbai before the lockdown to tackle the coronavirus pandemic stalled the shoot. The movie had been generating waves online as fans waited for glimpses from sets and any news on the film.
In a recent interaction with an entertainment portal, producer Charmme Kaur has heaped praises on the talent and work ethics of both lead actors of her pan India movie Fighter. Talking about her acting in two of her Bollywood movies, Charmme said that she will soon be counted in the list of top three actresses in the industry because of her immense talent and amazing discipline. Talking about the Arjun Reddy star, Charmme said Vijay is a thorough professional who keeps the shoot going no matter what and it is always fun to have him around.
Recently, she also revealed that Fighter is not the original title if the film, it is just and working title and new solid title will come soon at the right time. Presently, the film finished 40% of the shooting and the next schedule of the film begins in Hyderabad soon after the lockdown ends.

The film is directed by Puri Jagannadh and produced by along with Charmme Kaur and the Hindi rendition is backed up by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
