Ananya Pandey joined the cast of the pan Indian movie Fighter after weeks of speculation and rumours Jahnvi Kapoor may be the leading lady. Once Ananya Pandey officially joined the cast of Fighter, fans of the ‘angry young man’ Vijay Deverakonda, were excited to see a Bollywood diva star alongside their hero. Ananya Pandey also included a message for Vijay Deverakonda by welcoming him to Bollywood.
As the shooting for Fighter is well underway, Vijay Deverakonda seemed to have swept Ananya Pandey off the floor even before the movie is released on screen. Speaking to reporters Ananya Pandey said “Vijay is kind, smart, wellspoken and knows how to hold a conversation (sic.)”

Vijay Deverakonda will make his Bollywood debut with Fighter, a movie produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Puri Connects, a production house owned by Puri Jagannath and Charmme Kaur. Ananya Panday was earlier seen in Student Of The Year 2 and Pati Patni Aur Woh. Fighter is a movie based on mixed martial arts, for which Vijay Deverakonda underwent intensive training. Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishnu Reddy, Getup Srinu and Ali will also appear in supporting roles in Fighter.
It looks like Vijay Deverakonda found a new fan in Ananya Pandey!
