With a huge character arc in all the films Chiranjeevi has performed in so far, there is always anticipation among audiences to witness him in several other exciting stories. Also, there has been an ongoing trend of web series on the OTT platform, and several actors are appearing in the series. Recently, Venkatesh was also seen in a web series called Rana Naidu along with Daggubati Rana. The Family Man web series might be one of the most loved ones in the Indian web series and is the story of an undercover investigation officer. Manoj Bajpayee played the role of Srikant Tiwari, and people have loved him for his blend of middle-class and investigative avatar.
Recently, there has been an update that initially the protagonist role in The Family Man was written for Megastar Chiranjeevi. The makers of The Family Man series, Raj & DK, wanted to make it a film and cast Chiranjeevi. They narrated the story to the actor after his success with Khaidi No 150. However, the actor rejected it, as he felt that his fans might not accept him in the role of a father with two children. Things have not worked out between the makers and the actor, so they cast Manoj Bajpayee for the role. This was shared by the producer Aswani Dutt in an interview recently. However, it might have been very interesting if Megastar performed the role in this series.
Megastar Chiranjeevi has appeared in Waltair Veerayya and Bholaa Shankar so far this year. His upcoming film MEGA157 is being made under the direction of Vasishta under the UV Creations banner.
