Actor Gopichand is looking forward to the March 8 release of his fantasy-infused police drama, “Bhimaa.” A Harsha is the director of the film, which stars Malvika Sharma and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the female lead roles. Gopichand has offered his opinions on the film and appears optimistic about ‘Bhimaa’s’ chances of success.
Gopichand stated, “I was thrilled to come across A Harsha’s story, and when he explained the hero’s characterization, I wanted to do the role instantly.” about the plot of the Bhimaa movie.
Gopichand further on his part by saying, “You need a bigger evil to slay an evil. This is demonstrated in Bhimaa, since it encapsulates the essence of Bhimaa‘s exuberant quirks. I encountered inquiries asking me whether Bhimaa resembles the Akhanda movie. I have no problem with people drawing comparisons. But, Bhimaa is very different.”
Bhimaa has an ancient Shiva Temple, as the trailer implies, and it is said to be intricately linked to the plot of the film. Gopichand stated that the fact that the release date of the film Bhimaa falls on this auspicious day is only coincidental. The film will be released in cinemas on Maha Siva Ratri.
“It is coincidental that the release of “Bhimaa” is scheduled on Shiva Ratri. We had originally intended for it to be released in December 2023. But ‘Salaar’ was released. Sankranthi was bustling”, he said.
Gopichand claimed there was no acceptable date in February, and hence they fixated on March 8.
Gopichand praised the technicians who worked on Bhimaa, saying that they all gave it their all for the semi-fantasy film, and the outcome will show how committed they were.
Helmed by noted Kannada director A Harsha, Bhimaa also stars Nassar, Naresh, Poorna, Vennela Kishore, Raghu Babu, Mukesh Tiwari, Chammak Chandra, and Rohini in major roles.
KK Radhamohan is producing the movie under the banner of Sri Sathya Sai Arts. ‘KGF’ fame Ravi Basrur is in charge of the music composition.
