“Bhala Thandhanana” Telugu Movie Review:
Story:
The Story of Bhala Thadhanana revolves around a 2000 crores hawala scam and a few murders by Anand Bali (Garuda Ram). An investigative journalist, Sasirekha (Catherine), who always does dangerous investigations gets to know about the scam and the murders. Chandrashekar (Sree Vishnu), Sasirekha’s boyfriend gets involved in the 2000-crore Hawala scam unknowingly because of her. How Chandu solves this maze and gets out of the danger is the rest of the story.
On-Screen Performances:
Sree Vishnu once again succeeded in delivering another experimental film in his career. Bhala Thandhanana showcases Sree Vishnu’s complete abilities as an actor. He gave an intense performance throughout the film, particularly in the second half. Sree Vishnu will surely attain the image of an action hero with this film, adding one more tag to his talent hub.
Catherine Tresa gets a very good role after a long time with Bhala Thandhanana. The character Sasirekha is not just a part of the film like the heroine roles in regular commercial films, instead, it is the major asset to kick-start the plot of the film.
Garuda Ram delivers another powerful performance as an antagonist after KGF. His face-off with Sree Vishnu is worth watching. Posani Murali Krishna too did well in the negative role.
Satya provided a few laughs in the first half.
Off-Screen Highlights:
The director Chaitanya Dantuluri delivered a perfect intense action thriller. He chose a simple plot to take off the story, but the journey is so engaging with thrills and twists. He used the best of his strength in writing once again. The film’s screenplay is gripping all through and provides the audience with high moments very frequently. The way Chaitanya dealt with the screenplay of the film is appreciable, starting from the pre-interval to the climax. This is just brilliant writing and execution from Chaitanya Dantuluri. Also, Chaitanya left another interesting element at the end of the film by hiding a few things, so as to keep the audience excited if there is a possibility for a sequel.
Mani Sharma’s background score has increased the pace of the film in most of the scenes. As the film belongs to the genre of action thriller, and Chaitanya penning all the thrills and high moments throughout the film, the background score too needs to give the same high to involve the audience and that’s what Mani Sharma exactly did. This can be considered Mani Sharma’s one of the best works in recent medium-budget movies.
The cinematography from Suresh Ragutu is another appreciable work in the film technically. Suresh showed his mark of best work throughout the film, particularly in the action scenes and the climax.
Peter Hein needs to be applauded for composing some stunning action sequences in the film. The action part of the film is a must-watch highlight.
