Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam is stealing the hearts of the audience across the world. The audience is getting deeply connected to the elegant love story of Vikramaditya and Prerana. Credit goes to the director Radha Krishna and his team. Besides getting applause for a beautiful presentation of the love story in its purest form, the film is also being equally appreciated for the visual experience it gave to the audience. The Indian audience never had the experience of such a visual wonder on the big screen in a romantic drama. Let us discuss the best episodes of the film which uplifted the standards of the film on the visual level and propelled the film forward on the story level.
Best Episodes Of Radhe Shyam:
- Train Episode (Hero & Heroine At First Sight):
Vikramaditya falls in love with Prerana at the first sight itself. This scene was written so beautifully and executed on a top notch level. Vikramaditya and Prerana both hang from the train with Prerana enjoying the cool breeze and nature, and Vikramaditya looking at Prerana’s face with love. In addition to these, the cinematographer gave some extraordinary visuals. To be particular, the 360 degree shot is the best in recent times to show the romance between the lead pair. Also, the director Radha Krishna said in a recent interview that the 360 degree shot has all the 5 elements of nature surrounding Prabhas and Pooja Hegde. The shot was intentionally made so as to repeat the same in the climax of the film, that is the ship episode. Thaman’s background score is a great addition to such a visual wonder. Summing up all these, this train episode is one of the best, probably the best romantic scenes in the history of Telugu cinema.
- Boat Episode (Heroine’s Fate):
Vikramaditya and Prerana both sailing together in a boat in a beautiful lake is another romantic scene in the film. Vikramaditya checks Prerana’s palm for the first time and says that her love story will be the most beautiful and she will have a long life with lots of love around. The conflict of the heroine suffering with a health issue was introduced at the same time and this is purely the director’s writing brilliance. The conflict slowly paves the way for an intense and emotional interval block. Also, this episode looks visually good and the colours are great.
- Ship Episode (Hero Fights Destiny):
The ship episode of Radhe Shyam is the best visual experience Indian audiences ever had for a romantic drama in the history of Indian Cinema. Firstly, the credit goes to the director Radha Krishna for dreaming of such great visual effects and bringing the output so perfectly with a great execution. Also, the lead actor Prabhas needs to be equally credited for giving a top notch performance imagining the things around just with the presence of the green screens on the sets. All other technical departments including the cinematography, action, art and visual effects are all exceptional in bringing out the best. The ship episode was also written brilliantly with choosing a conflict of man versus nature, like a tsunami. Vikramaditya fighting his destiny to win his love is one of the best themes in Indian love stories till date.
