On the special occasion, Balakrishna announced his son Mokshagna’s entry on the big screen in a recent media interaction. Speaking about his upcoming projects, Balakrishna said “Aditya 369 sequel is sure in the making, myself and my son Mokshagna are doing this film. Just like my father N. T. Rama Rao who introduced me through his films, I’m planning to introduce Mokshagna with Aditya 369 sequel (sic.)” Adding further, Balakrishna said “I crafted the story for Aditya 369 sequel and it has good roles for me and Mokshagna (sic.)” As soon as the legendary star revealed the news, fans across the Telugu states were excited and highly anticipated to witness the father and son magic on the big screen.

On the work front, Balakrishna is currently awaiting the release of action entertainer Akhanda, marking the hat trick combination of Boyapati Sreenu and Balakrishna. Pragya Jaiswal is the leading lady of the film. Srikanth, Suniel Shetty, Jagapathi Babu, Poorna, Prabhakar, Sharath Lohithaswa and Viji Chandrasekhar will play pivotal roles. Music sensation S. Thaman is the music composer for Akhanda. Miryala Ravinder Reddy under the banner of Dwaraka Creations is producing Akhanda. The audiences are awaiting for the official announcement of the release date.
