It is time for an iconic sequel. Aditya 369, the science fiction film written and directed by the veteran filmmaker Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, was released in 1991. After more than three decades, its sequel is going to be made.
Balakrishna has announced the sequel. Titled Aditya 999 Max, it is going to feature Nandamuri Mokshagnya in the lead. A time-travel story, the film is scripted by Balakrishna in the main. The young actor must be proud to be acting under the direction of his dad.

Aditya 369’s sequel has been nothing short of a dream project for Balakrishna. He made his plans official about eight years ago, long before his son’s acting debut was announced. He will talk about the sequel on his celebrity talk show, Unstoppable, on December 6th. The actor might reveal some interesting facts about Aditya 999 Max.
Aditya 369 also featured Mohini, Amrish Puri, Tinnu Anand, and Suthivelu. Ilaiyaraaja and Jandhyala composed its music and wrote its dialogues, respectively. Sridevi Movies produced it.
Balakrishna is currently doing Daaku Maharaaj, directed by Bobby Kolli. The film has wrapped up its shoot. It will hit the screens on January 12th, 2025.
