Aadi targeted 2022 with multiple films. Some of them are under production. His latest film Atithi Devo Bhava was released on 7th January, 2022. Despite his films not working great at the box office in the recent past, Aadi decided to announce his strong comeback with Atithi Devo Bhava.
Atithi Devo Bhava was directed by Polimerea Nageshwar. The film was produced by Rajababu Miryala and Ashok Reddy Miryala under the banner of Srinivasa Cine Creations. Nuveksha played as the lead actress alongside Aadi. The film promised the audience a combination of entertainment and emotions with the trailer. Let us look if the film lived up to the promise made.

“Atithi Devo Bhava” Telugu Movie Review:
Story:
Abhay (Aadi) suffers from Autophobia, the fear of being alone. He gets suicidal thoughts if he stays alone for a while. Knowing this, Abhay’s mother never leaves him alone. Abhay continues the same as he grows and always takes his friend along everywhere to accompany him. This results in Abhay’s breakup with his girlfriend. Later Vaishnavi (Nuveksha) enters his life and becomes his love interest. How Abhay hides his phobia from Vaishnavi and what are the problems he faces with this in his relationship is the run of the story. Can Abhay get away with his fear? If so, how does he overcome that fear?
These interesting elements need to be watched in the film itself.
On Screen Performances:
Aadi completely justifies his role for the character of Abhay. He shows enough variations in both romantic and emotional scenes. He fits perfectly into the collars of a man with phobia. Nuveksha has good screen presence. Saptagiri was the highlight of the film. His exceptional timing in the comedy sequences, especially before the interval and in the drunken episodes of the second half are hilarious.
Off Screen Highlights:
The writing team needs to be complimented for the love tracks and the comedy sequences. Shekar Chandra needs a special mention for lifting up the film at every pit. The visuals look good throughout the film, especially in the songs.

So finally, with the big films missing out for the Pongal race, Atithi Devo Bhava promises a perfect replacement to provide the audience a romantic entertainment showing the journey of a protagonist featuring Autophobia.
