The entire nation is feeling the heat of the second wave of the Coronavirus. The cases are multiplying in exponential fashion leading to the imposition of a new set of rules and regulations by the government.
Many filmmakers have postponed their movie releases in light of the current situation. There have been speculations that the movie theatres might be shut down temporarily. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy announced a new rule regarding the theatre occupancy in Andhra Pradesh. Instead of shutting down the theatres, the Chief Minister ordered a 50% occupancy of theatres in the recent review meeting on Covid 19.
This news came as a sigh of relief to both the producers and the theatre owners. Since the rise in the Coronavirus cases, theatres have experienced a decline in patrons. With the latest rule, people can enjoy the cinemas without compromising their safety.
