Prabhas’ movie with director Hanu Raghavapudi was launched in August last year. A couple of schedules have already been completed.
The news is that Anupam Kher has been roped in for a role in the untitled movie. For the Hindi film actor, this is his 544th movie. On Thursday, Kher shared the news on social media, describing Prabhas as the “Baahubali of Indian cinema”. He described the Sita Ramam director as “very talented”.

Mythri Movie Makers, which has scored the humongous hit Pushpa 2: The Rule, is bankrolling this one. Sudeep Chatterjee, Kher’s friend, is the Director of Photography. The film has music by Vishal Chandrasekhar and also features Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada in pivotal roles.
Kher has acted in films like The Kashmir Files, The Accidental Prime Minister, The Vaccine War, and Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan in recent years. Most recently, he was seen as Jay Prakash Narayan in Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency. In Telugu, Kher has done Ravi Teja’s Tiger Nageswara Rao, and Nikhil Siddhartha’s Karthikeya 2. The India House is among his upcoming pan-Indian movies.
