Anil Kapoor To Play A Pivotal Role In Indian 2?

Bollywood veteran Anil Kapoor is known for his cameos in movies.  Of late, he is being choosy about his films and roles.

Director Shankar is making the sequel to his iconic film Indian, which earned Kamal Haasan the National Film Award for Best Actor in 1997.  Indian 2 is in its production stages now.  Shankar initially roped in Ajay Devgn to play the antagonist, but Ajay opted out of the project due to date issues.

Reports say Anil Kapoor was roped in by Shankar to play the antagonist in the movie, which also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh and Vidyut Jammwal.

Indian 2 is slated to release in the Summer of 2020.
