Here is a “melody as pleasant as the moon and love as pure as the rain”. Andhamaa Andhamaa from 8 Vasantalu is rendered by Hesham Abdul Wahab (also the song’s composer) and Aavani Malhar. Vanamaali’s lyrics are lovely. The portion where the lover boy wonders if it is bondage or friendship takes the cake. “Your smile embraces me like Sunrise” and the comparison of her form to the Rainbow are poetic.

8 Vasanthalu, starring Ananthika Sanilkumar of MAD fame as the protagonist, is gearing up for a Summer release. The precise release date is yet to be made official.

Directed by Phanindra Narsetti of Manu fame, the romantic musical drama has the Hi Nanna fame composer Hesham composing the background score as well. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, the film has production design by Aravind Mule, and editing by Shashank Mali. Vishwanath Reddy’s cinematography is expected to be a major asset.

Mythri Movie Makers is currently also producing Jr NTR’s Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel. Today, producer Ravi Shankar said that its international release will be in tune with its spectacular scale.
