Ace director Sukumar and Allu Arjun are collaborating once again for Pushpa, one of the highly anticipated films of the year. Every single update from Pushpa is receiving a phenomenal response from the audience. This marks the excitement and anticipation of Pushpa among Telugu audiences.
From the past couple of days, there are speculations circling in the industry about Pushpa. The speculation is about Pushpa to be released in two parts. In the past there have been several major projects released in two parts. However, the scenario with Pushpa seems to be different as it was a decision made keeping in mind the current situation of the second wave of Coronavirus. Producer Ravi Shankar of the prestigious banners Myrthi Movie Makers confirmed the news in a recent media interaction. He said “”The Story of Pushpa has a lot of span and it’s difficult to narrate a complete story in 2 ¹/² hours. So, we along with Sukumar and Allu Arjun decided to go with 2 Parts(sic.)”

With the official news confirmed, fans breathed a sigh of relief to witness Allu Arjun in two parts of Pushpa. This marks the first ever movie by Allu Arjun to have two parts. Pushpa will mark the third collaboration between Allu Arjun and director Sukumar. Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady of the film. After the blockbuster movies Arya (2004) and Arya 2 (2009,) Sukumar and Allu Arjun are teaming up once again for Pushpa. The film takes place around the Chittoor forest region, based on the backdrop of Red Sandalwood smuggling. Pushpa also features Jagapathi Babu, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Vennela Kishore in supporting roles. The film is co produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media. Devi Sri Prasad is the tunesmith. Pushpa will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages worldwide in theatres on 13th August, 2021.
