The team has been rigorously shooting in multiple locations ever since the second lockdown was lifted. The makers even announced that the movie will be released on December 17th 2021. Now that the movie release date is announced, the makers have now started shooting for the scenes involving Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil. Pushpa is written and directed by Sukumar and will be released in two parts. Rashmika Mandanna will be seen opposite Allu Arjun as the female lead. Fahadh Faasil is playing the role of the antagonist. The story revolves around smuggling of red sandalwood. Pushpa is bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. Music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Pushpa : The Rise will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages simultaneously.
