Vishwak Sen has firm plans to do two sequels in the coming three years or so. The sequel to his entertaining buddy comedy, Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi, will probably go on the floors by the end of this year. Director Tharun Bhaskcer is yet to lock its script.
For years, Vishwak has wanted to do a sequel to Falaknuma Das, the Old City-based remake. In a recent interview, the Das Ka Dhamki actor said that the sequel will definitely happen but it is going to take longer than expected for the movie to go on the floors.
Vishwak’s focus on sequels is timely. Box office trends are geared towards sequels. Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi 2 will make for an exciting watch, considering that the first part was enjoyed by a large section of the young audience.
Vishwak’s most recent theatrical release is Laila. Directed by Ram Narayan, the comedy entertainer is produced by Sahu Garapati of Shine Screens. Leon James is its music director. Abhimanyu Singh, Akanksha Sharma and others played important roles in it. Funky, directed by KV Anudeep, is Vishwak’s immediate next release.
