A recent incident near Bengaluru’s Electric City saw police break up a rave party that was being held as a birthday celebration. It was reported that people connected to the Telugu film industry were taken into police custody for further investigation.
Misinformation about Telugu actor Srikanth Meka arose during the same hysteria, which upset him and his family. But Srikanth quickly addressed the matter from his Hyderabad home via a video statement.
In his light-hearted statement, Srikanth conveyed that he has been at his Hyderabad residence all this while, and has no connection with the recent controversial Bengaluru Rave Party.
“As you can see, I am currently present at my residence in Hyderabad, and I’m seeing the rumors going around about me getting caught at the rave party. We all know that I have no involvement in this, so my family and I are attempting to handle things amicably,” Srikanth stated.
“I am aware that one of the individuals apprehended in Bengaluru had striking resemblances to me, which may have given a false impression that I am engaged. He said, “I was shocked to see how much one of the men there resembled me.

In addition to thanking some of his media friends who took the time to call him and want to know the truth before making any assumptions, Srikanth advised the public and the media to use caution and refrain from making rash assumptions.
