Maharaja, Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi’s landmark 50th film, arrived in theaters on June 14, in Tamil and Telugu versions amid considerable excitement. Days after its grand release, the movie has stood as a big hit, considering the monumental box-office receipts.
Maharaja has so far collected 85.3 crores, as it slowly inches towards 100 crores. Helmed by Nithilan Saminathan, Maharaja was produced by Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the musicals for Maharaja, while Dinesh Purushothaman handled the cinematography.
