Veera Dheera Sooran, the Tamil-language movie, stars Vikram in a rustic role. Featuring SJ Suryah as a volatile cop, the action thriller also features Suraj Venjaramoodu, Dushara Vijayan (as the male lead’s wife) and Prudhvi Raj (yes, the Tollywood comedian).
Vikram’s performance has been lauded by film critics and the audience alike. As Kaali, the Aparichitudu actor is intense to the core in the SU Arun Kumar directorial. The Hindu, in its review, stated that Vikram is a scene-stealer with eyes that could melt steel.
Indian Express noted, “Vikram is terrific in a role that asks him to exercise tremendous restraint even when he is lugging huge weapons and isn’t shying away from firing bullets and hacking hands if necessary.” India Today added, “Vikram returns with a gripping performance in a tense and slow-burning action thriller that keeps the stakes high.”
