Mad Square was released in theatres on Friday (March 28th). Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas are on a cloud nine, as the film took sensational openings.
By grossing Rs 20.08 Cr on Day 1, the film has become the biggest Telugu cinema opener for its genre. “A Resounding Welcome and a Grand Celebration at the Box Office. Mad Square opens with a mind blowing 20.8 Cr+ Worldwide Gross on Day 1. This summer, MAD Gang is making a MAXXXX-imum impact (sic),” the makers stated.

“The media stated that hiked ticket prices might show impact. But that hasn’t happened. Despite hiked ticket rates, the audience are watching our movie strongly in Andhra Pradesh. Shows are tightly packed everywhere,” S Naga Vamsi said, adding that the Day 1 figures earned by the sequel will match the final collections earned by MAD in 2023.
“A journalist, who watched Mad Square in a hall filled with the regular audience, told me the female audience member sitting next to him was in splits throughout,” the presenter added.
The makers believe that the figures will be unimaginable during the long weekend. Since it is festival season, the collections are going to be awesome.
