Sikandar is up for release in theaters this Sunday (March 30th). While the action thriller stars Salman Khan in the titular role, two well-known actresses have major roles in it: Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal.
Rashmika, whose most recent Hindi hit is Chhaava, is working alongside Salman for the first time. In a recent chit-chat with the media, she playfully remarked that while her earlier projects were the result of collaborative efforts, Sikandar was different. She explained that the film possessed authentic emotions, encompassing love, fear, sadness, anger.
While it is not surprising that the female lead has a strong part in the movie, Kajal Aggarwal, too, has a meaty role. Whatever has been said about Kajal’s presence in Sikandar is believed to be empty speculation. Since she has acted opposite some of the biggest Telugu and Tamil heroes, she wouldn’t have accepted an ordinary role. Director AR Murugadoss must be planning to spring up a surprise. We got to wait for the movie to hit the screens in a matter of a few hours.
