The wildly popular reality show Bigg Boss is popular among Indian audiences mostly because of the eclectic selection of participants who would be confined in a house for almost two months without any contact with the outside world. The only contact the Bigg Boss house inmates have of the outside world is with the host of the show. Bigg Boss Telugu was hosted by some big names in Tollywood like Jr. NTR, Nani and Akkineni Nagarjuna who hosted the last edition of the show.
