Renowned producer Dil Raju seems to be torn between being pleased with the kind of response the Family Star has been getting and disappointed by the negative initial reviews, which significantly affected the conversation surrounding the film.

Dil Raju said, “I wish we introduced the idea of outlawing early movie reviews, the way they do in Kerala, where they prevent reviewers from posting reviews for the first three days of the film’s release.”
The Family Star, directed by Parasuram Petla, was expected to leave a lasting impact because audiences were expecting a “Geetha Govindam”-type movie. While the Family Star may not have had as much of an impact, the overall consensus is that the film is impressive for a family audience.
