With the success of her most recent film, “Animal,” Rashmika Mandanna is riding high and has been busy filming back-to-back projects. Rashmika recently took part in the filming of Pushpa: The Rule, the much-anticipated follow-up to the critically acclaimed Pushpa: The Rise.
The long-awaited film ‘The Girlfriend’ starring Rashmika has drawn a lot of interest since director Rahul Ravindran first revealed it. Rahul previously assured Rashmika’s supporters that the trailer for The Girlfriend will be released on her birthday.
However, he states that the team intended to share The Girlfriend’s teaser in a more significant way now that the release date has been postponed.
Rahul Ravindran, who took to his X to announce the postponement of the teaser for The Girlfriend, wrote, “We have #TheGirlfriend teaser for @iamRashmika ‘s birthday ready. However, we want to go grand and make the event very special. Keeping this in mind, we have decided to postpone the teaser launch to a later date this month. An event with Rashmika and her fans is being planned.”
“To her fans across the country, we love her as much as you do. And we love you. Please bear with us a few more days. We shall announce a new date soon. We shall introduce you to ‘The Girlfriend’ soon. Thank you. From Team ‘The Girlfriend’”, Rahul Ravindran’s post concludes.
‘The Girlfriend’ is presented by Allu Aravind under the Geetha Arts banner, while it is being produced by Vidya Koppineedi & Dheeraj Mogilineni. Hesham Abdul Wahab is the music director for this women-led solo movie, while the Cinematography is handled by Krishnan Vasant. Production design by S Rama Krishna & Monika Nigotre.
