Starring GV Prakash and Aishwarya Rajesh, director Anand Ravichandran’s quirky family comedy-drama “Dear” is produced by G Pruthviraj of Nutmeg Productions Pvt. Ltd., Varun Tripuraneni, and Abhishek Ramisetty.
With a one-day delay between the Telugu and Tamil releases, the original Tamil version will debut on April 11th, while the Telugu-dubbed ‘Dear’ will hit the screens on April 11.
While Asian Cinemas obtained the Telangana theatrical rights, Annapurna Studios secured the Pradesh theatrical rights. Undoubtedly, the film will receive a wider release in the Telugu states thanks to the production and distribution companies with sizable theater chain operations.
GV Prakash Kumar, whose latest chart-topping single “Mastaaru Mastaaru” is still at the top of the charts, composed the music for the movie Dear. The two Tamil songs that came out are currently topping the charts and will soon be available in Telugu.
Dear also stars Kaali Venkat, Ilavarasu, Rohini, Thalaivasal Vijay, Geetha Kailasam and Nandini in important roles. Jagadeesh Sundaramurthy is handling the cinematography.
Stay tuned for more updates.
