Pawan Kalyan, the founder of Janasena and a prominent figure in contemporary Andhra Pradesh politics, spoke to his supporters and admirers yesterday, March 14, on the occasion of Janasena’s tenth anniversary of founding.
Referring to his two-spot defeat in the last general election, Pawan Kalyan brought up the name of his friend & renowned director Trivikram Srinivas.
“I was taken aback when I didn’t win in either of the two general election seats I contested for, in the previous general elections. It was a hard time with no movies in my favor, and no money in my hands. Despite having such a big fan base and the capability to do much more, I was staggered. During that period, my dear friend Trivikram Srinivas was the one who stood by me, brought up the topic of doing some movies, and worked really hard on some scripts”, Pawan Kalyan explained.
“Someone must be thinking of me if I am thinking about society, isn’t that right?”, Pawan Kalyan specifically acknowledged Trivikram Srinivas for standing by him through thick and thin.
“Trivikram dislikes that I am involved in politics”, Pawan Kalyan stated. “Trivikram Srinivas felt that writing revolutionary dialogues for me in films would help me get over the idea of being involved in politics. The interval dialogues from Jalsa were written in the same context, nonetheless, I entered politics”, Pawan Kalyan said.
Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas are the closest friends in Tollywood and shared a work collaboration on ‘Atharintiki Daaredi’, ‘Agnyaathavaasi’, ‘Bheemla Nayak’, and ‘Bro.
