Anukokundaa Okaroju

Yeleti Chandra Sekhar, a visionary filmmaker, helmed the thriller Anukokunda Oka Roju, a story about Sahasra, a young woman who loses track of a day during which she supposedly commits many crimes, Charmee Kaur did an outstanding job. The story revolves around her quest, assisted by a police officer and a few others, to uncover the truth about that one day.
The film is mostly about the mental stability of a confused but resilient lady, which makes it a woman-centric work with an engaging narrative style.

Arundhati

Since Arundhati’s release, the film has grown to be synonymous with lady-oriented films in Tollywood. Anushka Shetty’s portrayal of Jejamma, also known as Arundathi, will always be regarded as one of the best roles in a female-oriented film.
Setting aside the awards the film has received for technical aspects, Arundhathi has established a benchmark for powerful films focusing on women’s strength and warriorship.

Directed by Kodi Ramakrishna, the movie also stars Sonu Sood.

Rudramadevi

The 2015 Telugu-language biographical film Rudramadevi tells the tale of Rani Rudramadevi, one of the few warrior queens in Indian history and a member of the Kakatiya Dynasty. In addition to Rana Daggubati, Nithya Menon, and Catharine Teresa in key parts, the film stars Anushka Shetty in the title role.

Once more, Anushka Shetty, who wielded the sword as a warrior lady in Rudramadevi, nailed the part and had a significant influence on the portrayal of warrior queen Rudramadevi. It was directed by Guna Sekhar, while Allu Arjun played the famous ‘Gona Ganna Reddy’ in the movie.

Oh Baby

Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s performance in Oh Baby has once again demonstrated why she is one of the most beloved actors of the contemporary era. The audience was in awe of how effortlessly she played the part of a 70-year-old grandmother trapped in a 25-year-old body. One of the best female-oriented films in recent memory is this remake of the South Korean film Miss Granny.

The film captures the emotions of all women, who for most of their lives give up everything for their families and are unable to fulfill even the most basic of desires. The movie was also directed by a lady, Nandini Reddy.

Mahanati

Mahanati, played by actress Keerthy Suresh, is the life tale of the late Telugu actress Savitri, whom her former admirers cherishedly referred to as Savitramma.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film focuses on the most significant events in the actress’s life and shows how she became well-known after beginning her career as a theatrical actress. The film depicts the daring of a woman who, due to her versatility, once controlled the whole South Indian film industry, how her rise threatened to force even the greatest actors to reinvent themselves as actors, and how her collapse ultimately brought her misfortune.

Keerthy Suresh’s lifelike portrayal of Savitri won her the 2018 National Award for Best Actress.
