Recently, after the success of Kushi, the movie team held a blockbuster celebration in Visakhapatnam. Vijay Devarakonda, along with Naveen Yerneni, Shiva Nirvana and other crew members, expressed their gratitude and joy for the overwhelming success. The movie collected Rs. 70.23 crore in just three days and stood out as a blockbuster. The Nizam area alone generated 75% the returns on the investment within three days. With this, Kushi became Vijay Deverakonda’s highest first three day grosser of his career.
Producer Naveen Yerneni conveyed his appreciation to Vijay, Samantha and Shiva for creating a memorable and clean family entertainer like Kushi. Shiva Nirvana, who is originally from Vizag, expressed his excitement for the success and also for the journey from Sabbavaram to Tollywood. He said Kushi was special to him because it carried a message about unity despite differences of opinion within a family. Music director Hesham Abdul Wahab also expressed his gratitude to the audience for making Kushi‘s playlist a blockbuster hit. He acknowledged the positive response to the film’s music and thanked director Shiva Nirvana and Mythri Movie Makers for providing him with such an incredible opportunity.
Vijay Devarakonda, was deeply touched by the love and support of his fans. He expressed his satisfaction at seeing the happiness on the faces of the audience. He stated that he wanted to enter the industry to earn money, support his parents and also gain respect in society. However, he now realises that his fans are eager to see him make good films and succeed in his career. In a heartfelt gesture, Vijay Devarakonda announced that he plans to give back to his fans, whom he referred to as the Devara family. He is going to donate one crore rupees from his and Kushi‘s earnings to share his happiness with his fans. Over the next ten days, he promised to select one hundred families and give each of them a one lakh rupee check. This act of generosity was a way for him to express his gratitude and appreciation for the unconditional support of his fans.
