Well, this time Sukumar comes with another crazy love story under the direction of Palnati Surya Pratap. 18 Pages stars Nikhil Siddhartha and Anupama Parameswaran as the lead pair. 18 Pages Movie Story:

Siddhu (Nikhil Siddhartha) is a software employee who stays away from love, emotions, and feelings after suffering a breakup. He accidentally finds a diary written by Nandini (Anupama Parameswaran). Siddhu falls in love with Nandini’s character and world. Nandini, on the other hand, gets chased by a gang for some reason. How does Siddhu meet Nandini? What happens to Siddhu’s love story thereafter? All these elements hold the interest of the audience for the rest of the narrative of 18 Pages.

On-Screen Performances:

Nikhil Siddhartha is the perfect choice to play Siddhu. It has been very easy for the actor to portray the role with comfort and style. His performance in the dramatic scenes is very impressive. Nikhil sticks to his character and serves the right purpose with his experience while being fresh at the same time.

Anupama Parameswaran gets another impactful role in 18 Pages. She looks gorgeous on screen. Anupama pairs up very nicely with Nikhil. Anupama’s beauty lies in her innocence and purity in the film.

Sarayu as Bhagi gets a very important role.

Off-Screen Highlights:

Sukumar makes his mark again with a unique idea and different approach to the screenplay. He picks up the ideology from the voice of the female lead but tells it on screen through the face of the male lead. The idea looks fresh and unique. Also, unfolding the events in the screenplay as the pages turn is impressive. Sukumar’s brilliant move to present modern love is the love story between the lead pair, despite the characters never meeting. The female lead’s main problem and the male lead’s investigation to solve the problem are also well developed by Sukumar. On paper, 18 pages is quite interesting and exciting. It is very relatable to all our emotions, and a few dialogues will definitely touch our hearts.

Palnati Surya Pratap ticks all the boxes so perfectly from Sukumar’s script. The film has an engaging nature, and the director maintained that pace in his picturization. The film’s main highlight is the climax scene in which the lead couple meets. All credits go to Surya Pratap for conveying the scene in the most beautiful way.

Gopi Sundar’s music and background score are very loving and pleasant. The soundtrack adds some fresh flavors to the scenes.

Vasanth’s cinematography and Navin Nooli’s editing are fine.
