Superstar Krishna (Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy) is one of the legendary actors of Telugu cinema. He acted in more than 350 films. Superstar Krishna is the first actor to star in the first cinemascope film, Alluri Seetharama Raju, in 1974. He made the first Eastmancolor film, Eenadu, in 1982. He was the first to introduce 70mm film in Telugu with Simhasanam in 1986. The first DTS film in Telugu, Telugu Veera Levara, was also made by Krishna in 1995. Krishna also introduced cowboy films and spy films to Telugu cinema, including Gudachari 116, Gudachari 117, Rahasya Gudachari, James Bond 777, Mosagallaku Mosagadu, and Agent Gopi. Superstar Krishna also directed 17 films and produced numerous films under the production company, Padmalaya Studios. His contributions to the technical side of Telugu cinema are incredible.
