Dil Raju along with the other producers are working relentlessly to solve the issues Tollywood has been facing, as known to us all. The productions of all the Telugu movies were halted from August 1st in the name of the Producers Council strike to solve the issues in Tollywood. A committee was formed under the supervision of Dil Raju to bring out the best solution as early as possible. Last week, Dil Raju announced a few things to the media about the decisions made by the committee. Dil Raju then stated that the final meetings will be completed and the final decisions will be announced in four to five days. Yesterday, Dil Raju spoke to the media and made some important announcements regarding the resumption of the shootings and solutions for the issues.
Dil Raju in the press meeting yesterday stated that the producers’ council is calling off the strike. Finally, the 25 days of the strike have ended and film productions can be restarted regularly again. All the issues including the ticket prices, OTT releases, workers’ wages, artists’ remunerations, production costs and federation issues are resolved by the council. Dil Raju also said that the shootings can be resumed from September 1st and so the respective production teams can apply for them from August 25th.
Dil Raju added one more important update to his speech. The VPF charges issues are also discussed in these meetings and the producers’ council decided to not collect them from the exhibitors from here on.
So Dil Raju and his team of producers council finally resolved all the issues in Tollywood. The golden days of regular production in Tollywood are back.
