777 Charlie Movie Collections: 100 Crores In 30 Days. Rakshit Shetty’s Dog Film Experiment Was Successful

Rakshit Shetty is well known for his versatile films in Kannada cinema. The actor has extended his wings to other languages recently. After scoring a massive hit with his last film, a fantasy drama, Avane Srimannarayana, the actor immediately switched gears to make an adventure drama with a dog, titled 777 Charlie. The film was released on June 10th, and it won the hearts of the audience across the nation. Rakshit released the film as a Pan-India film and bagged huge collections along with immense love. The film recently surpassed the milestone of 100 crores at the box office.

Despite the heavy competition with Kaml Haasan’s Vikram and Nani’s Ante Sundaraniki at the box office in Tollywood, 777 Charlie managed to collect 5 crores from the Telugu states. The film did well in both Tamil and Malayalam, grossing 5 crores in each language. The film’s original release in Karnataka bagged 75 crores at the box office. The rest of India’s collections are about 5 to 6 crores. The film collected 7.5 crores at the US box office. So, in total, the film grossed more than 100 crores. These are the collections for the first 30 days of the film’s run at theatres, from June 10th to July 10th. This is the highest grossing film in the career of Rakshit Shetty. Moreover, this is the 5th highest grossing film in Kannada cinema.

Rakshit Shetty has completely succeeded in delivering the best version of the emotional drama between dog and human. Credit goes to him for choosing this beautiful emotional tale and making it a huge success. The director, Kiranraj, needs to be equally credited for bringing out the perfect execution for this human-dog drama.
