Ponniyin Selvan, the most awaited film not only in Kollywood but also across the entire nation, was announced to be released on September 30th. Film lovers across India are super excited to witness the magic created by the Guru of Indian cinema, Mani Ratnam, in his dream project. The character looks released so far look very interesting and they perfectly reflect the royalty of the Chola dynasty. The makers released the teaser for the film today in multiple languages. The film’s teaser was launched by the top stars in different languages.
The teaser of Ponniyin Selvan in the original language of Tamil was released by actor Suriya. Mahesh Babu released the teaser in Telugu. The legendary actor of Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan, released the teaser in Hindi. Mohanlal and Rakshit Shetty did it in Malayalam and Kannada respectively.

Ponniyin Selvan is inspired by the novel with the same title. The film deals with the kings and empires of the Chola dynasty. Mani Ratnam penned the screenplay and directed the film. He is also a part of the production. Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions together produced the film. Ponniyin Selvan was made on a huge budget of around 500 crores. AR Rahman composed the music for the film. Ravi Varman is the cinematographer, and Sreekar Prasad is the editor.
