South Indian actors and directors are ruling Indian cinema currently. SS Rajamouli has laid the foundation for this dominance with Baahubali. Both Rajamouli and the lead actor, Prabhas, became Pan-India stars with the humongous success of Baahubali. Thereafter, Prashanth Neel continued that run with the KGF franchise. Now Baahubali Prabhas and KGF Neel have teamed up to make Salaar, as it is known to us all. Salaar is an upcoming Pan-India action entertainer. Prabhas is also making Project K, a science fiction film with Yevade Subramanyam film director Nag Ashwin. Well, the film teams of Salaar and Project K had a casual meet-up yesterday with some South stars.
The Big B of Indian Cinema, Amitabh Bachchan, is playing a prominent role in Prabhas and Nag Ashwin’s film Project K. Amitabh had already finished shooting a couple of schedules for the film in Hyderabad. He recently joined the film’s production for another schedule. On the other hand, Salaar shooting is also being done in Hyderabad. Prashanth Neel is planning a heavy action sequence on huge sets. So Prabhas and his upcoming films’ directors, Prashanth and Nag Ashwin, along with Amitabh, spent the last night with some South stars. Tollywood actor Nani and Mollywood actor Dulquer Salmaan, along with the legendary director K Raghavendra Rao, joined Prabhas and the others. They all spent some time together discussing the growth of Indian cinema and the efforts they were putting in for that, respectively.

Nani is the lead actor in Nag Ashwin’s first film, Yevade Subramanyam. The film was a super success. Nag Ashwin made his second film, Mahanati, with Dulquer Salmaan. The film was nationally acclaimed. So the two star actors were invited last night by Nag Ashwin for the meet up as they were available in Hyderabad, as known from the film sources.
