SS Rajamouli confirms that all his films follow the template of good winning over bad because he feels that revenge is the strongest emotion that can be connected to the audience deeply.
Rajamouli reveals the hard work put by the two lead actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan in their respective introduction scenes. Jr NTR literally faced the thin air and showed the emotions and reactions in the tiger sequence. There was even no green or blue sponge as a reference to Tarak. Ram Charan’s introduction was taken in the presence of 2000 people where he needs to control them all as a ruthless policeman.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga is a huge fan of the interval blocks of Rajamouli’s films. He discussed the interval block of Chatrapathi with Rajamouli.
Rajamouli said that he believes in the films having universal emotion and confirms that RRR completely has that. Also, Rajamouli reveals that the film totally runs in a linear screenplay, and has a small flashback in the second half of the film.
Rajamouli talks about the shooting locations of RRR. The major part of the film was shot in Hyderabad. Tarak’s introduction scene was shot in Bulgaria and the song Naatu Naatu was shot in the Ukraine’s presidential building. Rajamouli reveals that the story of the film runs in Delhi of the 1920s.
Sandeep Reddy was interested to know if the film has any song or romance between Alia Bhatt and Ram Charan. But Rajamouli confirms that the entire romance in the film is only between Jr NTR and Ram Charan. The audience will surely love the bromance and friendship between the lead actors.
Rajamouli also talks about the shooting days of the film RRR. Rajamouli had actually planned for 225 to 240 shooting days. But to bring out the perfection in the interval sequence, the shooting days were extended to 65 nights, from that of the actually planned original 28 days.
