As known to us all, a few star directors, actors and producers from Telugu film industry met YS Jagan, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh in person a few days back to discuss the ticket pricing system in the state. Mahesh Babu is one among them. Now as the government released the order with updated ticket prices, Mahesh writes a thankyou note to YS Jagan.
YS Jagan took the views and proposals of the biggies from the film fraternity of Tollywood and made some considerable changes in the order accordingly. Mahesh Babu is very happy with this move from the chief minister. Mentioning this, Mahesh Babu writes the thankyou note on his Twitter handle to the chief minister and the team who were involved in making this possible. “My heartfelt thanks to the CM of AP, YS Jagan for hearing our concerns and addressing them through the new GO and revised ticket rates,” writes Mahesh. Mahesh also adds that he is looking forward to a mutually strong and healthy support between the government and Tollywood in the future.

The new GO about the ticket prices includes different regional categories like Municipal Corporations, Municipality and Nagar or Grama Panchayats. Also, the theatres are categorised into Non AC, AC, Special theatres and Multiplexes. Different prices are set for all these categories. The new ticket prices will be in action from this weekend. Radhe Shyam releasing on 11th March is going to have the new ticket prices in AP as stated in the new GO. Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film Sarkaru Vaari Paata will be following the same.
