DJ Tillu Review:
Story:
DJ Tillu (Siddhu) goes after the gorgeous Radhika (Neha Shetty) in a bar and falls for her. He slowly gets close to her and develops a relationship with her. Radhika is actually a married lady and Siddhu is unaware of it. Radhika invites Siddhu to her home. Siddhu goes to Radhika’s house in full excitement and gets into an unexpected trouble there. Both Siddhu and Radhika are blackmailed by a few others after the situation at Radhika’s house. How Siddhu gets out of this issue with his intelligence is the rest of the story.
On Screen Performances:
Siddhu being the screenwriter for the film is a great advantage. We can clearly see the inclusion of some character materials adopted by Siddhu and he owned them all very well. The body language, attitude, dialogue delivery and slang are all elegant in Siddhu’s performance. Neha Shetty added another advantage to the film. Besides looking gorgeous, her presence on screen is totally into the character. She is the best to get the applause next to Siddhu. Brahmaji made his mark with his experience. Prince and Pragathi are good.
Off Screen Highlights:
With the storyline being a regular one, the screenplay and direction needs to be strong enough for this type of rom-coms. That’s what Siddhu and Vimal exactly did. The direction is very detailed and decent. Vimal delivered the content in an extraordinary manner. Coming to the screenplay, Siddhu really did well. The characterisation of the lead actor, the dialogues and the whacky moments are all perfectly fit in the first half of the film. The second half has some hilarious sequences, especially the one in the courtroom. So the film is very well written and directed. The music from Sri Charan Pakala and Ram Miryala sounds good. The highlight of the film that needs to be discussed is Thaman’s background score. It is exceptional and lifts up the youth and mass flavour in the film.
Endnote:
DJ Tillu offers completely fun filled entertainment this weekend for the audience with the character of DJ Tillu, his attitude, his dialogues and his actions. Siddhu serves us a perfect meal with his writing and with the addition of Vimal’s direction. If you want to just sit back, relax and laugh as much as you can for all the whacky moments and hilarious sequences continuously for 2 hours, then go watch DJ Tillu this weekend in your nearest theatres.
