The films released in August 2021 are SR Kalyana Mandapam, Mugguru Monagallu, Merise Merise, MAD, Paagal, Raja Raja Chora, Kanabadutaledu, Crazy Uncles, Sridevi Soda Center, Ichuta Vahanamulu Niluparadu, Vivaha Bhojanambu and House Arrest.
This article deals with some decent good films that are recommended for our audience.
SR Kalyana Mandapam
The film SR Kalyana Mandapam created a good buzz with the trailer and the songs. The film is about the story of a young engineering student who needs to set right the relationship with his father and his love. Kiran Abbavaram pulled off the character with ease. He had good screen presence and acting skills. Sai Kumar showed all his experience, particularly in the climax. The music and background score from Chaitan Bharadwaj were the highlights of the film. The pace and plot of the film could have been better. Despite the flaws, the film is watchable for the efforts of Kiran Abbavaram.
Paagal
The confidence of Vishwak Sen in the promotions boosted the openings of the film Paagal. The story revolves around a character named Prem searching for motherly love from childhood after the death of his mother. He finally finds his soulmate, but only for 6 months as a temporary relationship. Can the relationship turn out to be for lifetime forms for the rest of the story. The romance between Vishwak and Nivetha looks good on screen. Vishwak was charming as a lover boy. Radhan adds weight to the film with his music. The youthful scenes were entertaining. The film lacks a perfect plot and affects the emotional connection with the audience. Vishwak alone keeps up the connection with the audience.
Raja Raja Chora
The entire unit of the film Raja Raja Chora did some good promotions and grabbed the attention of the audience. The film is about a fake software guy getting into robbery to solve his personal problems but he is taken deeper into the problems with the ongoing robbery and thus creating a total mess in his life. Sree Vishnu and Sunaina gave strong performances and were impressive. The comedy scenes were so hilarious and were perfectly placed. There is some smart writing in the story. The interval and climax scenes were well justified. The film is worth watching and is recommended to everyone.
Sridevi Soda Center
Pan India star Prabhas promoted the film Sridevi Soda Center and created enough hype for the film. The film deals with a love story between the lead characters facing many obstacles including the caste issue. How they get married is the rest of the story. Sudheer Babu and Anandhi performed really well and they were the highlight of the film. The visuals deserve special attention. The dialogues were good, especially in the climax part of the film. Mani Sharma did complete justification to the background score. The film lacks the pace and the story is too predictable. This affects the second half of the film. But the film is watchable for the performances from the lead actors and the visual experience it provides.
Vivaha Bhojanambu
With Comedian Satya making his debut as a hero and heavy promotions by the producer Sundeep Kishan, the film got some attention even with the release on the web. Vivaha Bhojanambu shows the struggles of a middle class guy after marriage to maintain the entire family of his new wife when the nation is under lockdown. Satya steals the show single handedly. He excels with a strong and hilarious performance. Sudarshan and Srikanth Iyengar were a huge support and perfectly balanced the mood of the film with Satya. A little cameo from Sundeep Kishan was a great attraction. The film provides us very good laughs despite being a low budget film and made completely with covid restrictions.
These are our picks for the month of August. There can be few other films which can be discussed here. But as we said earlier, this article deals with some decent Telugu Cinema.
