To the excitement of the aesthete audience and dance lovers, renowned Kuchipudi danseuse Sandhya Raju’s movie Natyam is Streaming now on Amazon Prime. One can remember the movie’s teaser was released by Young Tiger Jr. NTR. Daughter of Ramco Group Chairman Venketrama Raja, Sandhya is the daughter-in-law of Ramalinga Raju, founder of Satyam Computers. Natyam revolves around a dancer and her guru.
Coming to the plot of Natyam, an ancient dance village called Natyam is challenged by gradual disappearance of the true spirit of dance. Sitara (Sandhya Raju as a lead,) a classical dancer tries to resurrect the art by staging a forbidden play that haunts even her master. She finds herself stuck in between an old folklore about a goddess and the dark past of the village.

Natyam,an Engaging Dance Drama with perfect blend of Emotions is directed by Revanth Korukonda. Kamal Kamaraju essays the role of Sandhya’s guru in the movie. Male lead Rohit Behal is trained in jazz, classical ballet, contemporary and modern dance forms. Apart from choreography, Sandhya Raju is the costume designer and also managed the production of the film on behalf of Nishrinkala Films.
