The Rowdy Star Vijay Deverakonda is one of the most famous stars in the South Indian film industry. Puri Jagannadh is the director who delivers career best movies to the stars he works with. Both these powerhouse of talents are coming together for a Pan Indian movie based on mixed martial arts titled Liger.
Liger is one of the most anticipated movies ever since it was announced. The makers have been rigorously shooting in Mumbai when the second wave of Coronavirus hit and the shoot was halted. After taking a short break, the movie team has now landed in Goa for the final shooting schedule. There were rumours circulating around that a big Hollywood celebrity is playing a pivotal role in Liger. Putting these speculations to rest, the makers have finally decided to reveal the latest addition to the already star studded cast of Liger. Boxing legend Mike Tyson is onboarded to play a pivotal role in Liger and the makers released a video announcing the same. Liger is an upcoming sports action drama directed by Puri Jagannadh starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in the lead roles. This movie marks Vijay Deverakonda’s Hindi debut and Ananya Panday’s debut in the southern languages. Tanishk Bagchi is composing the music while Mani Sharma is providing the background score. Liger is co produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur under Puri Connects banner and Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Productions. The movie release date is yet to be announced.
