Suriya is the Kollywood star who has a huge fanbase in the Telugu states as well. The actor’s many movies have been dubbed in Telugu and have become super hits. Telugu fans are just as eager as Tamil fans for Suriya’s upcoming ventures.
Suriya is collaborating with the director Pandiraj for the movie tentatively titled Suriya40. In the latest, makers unveiled the much awaited first look video of Suriya40 as a pre birthday special for Suriya’s birthday tomorrow on 23 July. The video shows Suriya in a mass avatar and he can be seen wielding a sword. The movie is titled Etharkkum Thunindhavan. Check out the first look video below:

Suriya40 is is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures. D. Imman is the music composer, while Rathnavelu is the director of photography. Priyanka Arul Mohan of Sreekaram (2021) fame is the leading lady. Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Devadarshini, Jayaprakash and Ilavarasu feature in supporting roles. Apart from this movie, Suriya is also filming for the movie Vaadivaasal, an action drama directed by Vetri Maaran. Suriya is awaiting the release of the anthology web series Navarasa, created by Mani Ratnam. The series will premiere on the OTT platform Netflix on 6th August. Suriya is also producing the Hindi remake of his most recent super hit Aakasam Nee Haddura (2021.)
