Prabhas was on the spree to sign movies in 2020. Amidst the pandemic and lockdown, the actor signed 4 pan Indian films like Radhe Shyam with Radha Krishna Kumar, #Prabhas21 with Nag Ashwin, Adipurush with Om Raut and Saalar with Prashanth Neel. The actor is currently shooting for his upcoming mythological drama Adipurush, with Director Om Raut and Nag Ashwin sees this as a good opportunity for his upcoming film, #Prabhas21 to reach a wider audience.
Speaking in a recent interview about how it is better for Prabhas to join his sets of #Prabhas21 later, Nag Ashwin said, “Adipurush is based on Ramayana and Prabhas plays Lord Rama in it. A film like that will reach all the corners of the country. I believe after a film like that, Prabhas’ market will rise by at least 30%. I see it as a great opportunity to make a film with him after that. That’s not the reason for the delay though. The film was supposed to resume shooting in March but due to the pandemic and his other commitments, we will only be able to shoot in June or July now (sic.)”
