Thala Ajith will be seen next in the upcoming film titled Valimai, which is an action thriller. Valimai is one of the most awaited and highly anticipated films of the South. While the shoot is currently in progress, Thala fans have been restlessly demanding an update about the film for many days. Due to the mounting pressure from fans, Producer Boney Kapoor promised the fans that the first look of Valimai will be released soon. Thala Ajith also addressed the fans by issuing a statement about Valimai’s update.
Thala Ajith’s team took to Twitter and issued a statement, which read, “Greetings to my fans and people who have always shown love to me and my films. In the last few days, few people claiming to be my fans have been asking for Valimai updates in cricket stadiums, political events and other public venues, I am deeply disappointed with this behaviour. As announced earlier updates about the film will come when the time is right. I am in talks with the producers to announce the updates. Please be patient until then. Cinema is entertainment for you, but it’s a profession for me. I request my fans to be patient and conduct themselves decently in public domain. I hope people who love me will behave accordingly (sic.)”

Valimai, directed by H. Vinoth, is expected to be chock-full of stunts and action sequences. The film also features Huma Qureshi as the leading lady and reportedly, Kartikeya Gummakonda will play the role of the antagonist. Valimai was earlier slated to release on Diwali 2021 but was delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
