The Allu Arjun and Pooja Hedge starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which released in January 2020, was one of the biggest hits of Tollywood. The film and songs have garnered fans from all over the world. The songs from the film made a huge splash among Tollywood, Bollywood and international fans. On January 11, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo completed one year since its theatrical release and the team gathered together to celebrate this special event.
The team of Ala Vaikuthapurramloo met for a wonderful celebratory reunion, which was hosted in Hyderabad. The event was attended by Allu Arjun, Pooja Hegde, Trivikram, Allu Aravind, Sunil, Samuthirakani and Sushanth Akkineni. During the event, the Stylish Star Allu Arjun, delivered an emotional speech and thanked each and everyone who made this movie successful. The actor said, “2020 was a bad year for the whole world but for me, it was the best year of my life. I can never complain that 2020 was bad because I got Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo as one of my best memories. If this film didn’t release in February and if we had waited till Summer for the release, we would have missed such a great experience and memory, so I’m grateful that everything worked out. This film gave me so much energy during the lockdown and the accumulation of this film and songs received made me happy even in the lockdown (sic.)”
Allu Arjun also shared a special feeling about why Ala Vaikunthapurramloo is so special to him. The actor said, “Almost every actor in his life has an all time record film in his journey. Kalyan garu got for his all time record film for his seventh film Khushi, Jr.NTR got for his seventh film Simhadri and Ram Charan got for his second film Magadheera, I always wondered if I will ever be able to get one film like that. Now I got it with Ala Vaikunthapurramloo, everybody got it a little early with their sixth or seventh film but it took me 17 years to get this record and I’m very happy (sic.)”
