Vakeel Saab is one of the highly anticipated movies in Tollywood as it will mark the return of Pawan Kalyan to Tollywood. Vakeel Saab, helmed by Venu Sriram, will be the first film of Pawan Kalyan post his return to the entertainment industry. On the occasion of the New Year, the makers released a new poster and details of the teaser.
On the occasion of the New Year, at 12 A.M., the makers of the film took to Twitter and released the first look of Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan. In the poster, Pawan and Shruti can be seen smiling while sitting on a bike. The team also announced that the teaser of the film will be out on Makar Sankranthi, which falls on January 14. While it was revealed that Shruti Haasan will be seen in a special cameo in the film, the makers and the actress both remain tight lipped about her character in the film. Previously, Shruti shared screen space with Pawan in the superhits Gabbar Singh and Kaatamarayudu. Vakeel Saab is denoted as her hat trick collaboration with the Powerstar Pawan Kalyan.

Vakeel Saab is directed by Venu Sriram and produced by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor. The movie is a remake of the superhit Bollywood flick Pink, which had Amitabh Bachchan as the lead. The Telugu remake stars Anjali, Nivetha Thomas, Ananya Nagalla, Prakash Raj and Naresh in important supporting roles. According to the reports, the makers are eyeing to release the movie on the occasion of Dussehra, 2021.
